COUNSELLING
We take things gently, at your pace.
I hold space for you, and we take things gently, at your pace. I'm not here to fix you or tell you what to do. I'm here alongside you as we stay with what's there and notice what unfolds.
I'm human first, counsellor second - which means I show up as myself: warm, honest, and probably a little quirky!

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change"
- Carl Rogers
WHO I WORK WITH
You are welcome here.
My counselling is open to LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, and allies. You don't need to have a diagnosis, a label, or even a clear idea of what's wrong, you just need to show up.
Queer Individuals
Whether you're navigating identity, relationships, mental health, or all three at once this is a space that starts from your experience. Being queer can require a huge amount of bravery, vulnerability and integrity, and I understand that.
Families & Parents
When someone you love comes out, you have feelings too. Counselling for family members who are processing change, working through their own fears, and learning how to show up for the people they love.
Allies
General counselling for anyone who wants a space that's inclusive from the ground up — where you don't have to explain yourself before we can get to the actual work.
What we can explore together
Identity and self-acceptance · Anxiety and depression · Relationships · Trauma · Grief and loss · Family dynamics · Life transitions · Self-worth · Anything else that's on your mind.
MY APPROACH
Relational, creative
and led by you.
As a qualified Person-Centred counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am here to support you on your unique journey. My integrative approach combines person-centred and AEDP methods, and I am here to hold space for you to explore your feelings and experiences. I have a firm belief that everyone is their own expert, and I'm here to offer the support you need along the way.
I also value the role of creativity in the therapeutic process, and where it feels right for you, we can draw on art, storytelling, and other forms of expression to support healing and personal growth.
Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I feel deeply committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ people, their families and allies. I recognise that living authentically as a queer person often calls for immense bravery, vulnerability, and integrity. At times, this can bring about feelings of anxiety, stress, fear, isolation, and fatigue, which may intensify other challenges you’re experiencing. I also understand that the process of exploring and working on yourself can feel daunting, impractical, or even at odds with the messages you’ve received from family, friends, or wider society.
I am committed to creating an inclusive space where you can explore your experiences without fear of judgement, discrimination, or assumptions. In our counselling sessions, I work from a queer-affirmative and trauma-informed perspective, holding an awareness of the wider contexts that shape your life.
-
You are your own expert
I have a firm belief that everyone is their own expert. Sometimes we just need some support so we can safely explore what is currently happening for us.
-
No assumptions, no judgement
You don't need to explain your identity before I can help. I will use your language and check the things I'm unsure of.
-
Trauma-informed
I understand the courage it takes to bring up traumatic experiences. You are in the driving seat, and we go at your pace.
-
Creative and expressive
Sometimes words aren't enough. I draw on art, storytelling, and other expressive approaches when they feel right for you.
-
Neurodivergent informed
Sessions are flexible and adapted to your needs. Fidget toys welcome. No one-size-fits-all approach here.
THE COUNSELLING SPACE
Room for your whole self
I rent a private and confidential counselling room in Liverpool City Centre. It has a lovely, cosy atmosphere with soft lighting, comfortable furnishings, and fidget toys available to use. A place where you can express your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgement.
